Museums are not places of safekeeping but of inspiration. They are to be understood as brands with their own unique profiles, which is why building a coherent communication strategy across all channels is crucial.

 

When it comes to commercialization, it is important that an institution maintain its high curatorial standards and carefully adhere to them in the presentation and content of its messaging. This way the institution will preserve its ethos while also making itself accessible and attractive to a diverse target group.

 

Clear and skillful storytelling helps to emphasize the constantly changing content and piques curiosity and interest.
