Sebastian Fischenich
Designer, Creative Director and Strategist

Between the different interests and stakeholders, I understand my role as an interdisciplinary facilitator with a strong passion for art and cultural-historical topics along with a keen sense for new emerging trends.

Through my work as a creative director, strategist, and lecturer, I have gained experience and expertise in a vast variety of areas of the luxury and design industry, in the art market, as well as in and with public institutions.

Having worked several years in the fashion and luxury sectors, I am very familiar with the principles and mechanisms of those markets—especially the importance of concise storytelling—and know how to apply them successfully in brand management and marketing for the art sphere.

As a communication and marketing specialist, I have in-depth knowledge of the codes and requirements of a wide range of target groups and markets. Additionally, I have curatorial experience as a creative director and guest curator

I am an enthusiastic communicator and mediator with a strong international network of contacts in the art sector, the luxury and premium industry, universities, and public institutions.

I am highly experienced in the development of business structures and with the hands-on approach sometimes necessary in small corporate structures.

A close network of suppliers and experts consisting of nationally and internationally active agencies, photographers, designers, and producers allows me to realize your projects in an efficient and focused manner.

Sebastian Fischenich is born to a Polish mother and a German father in Cologne. He studied art and fashion at the Utrecht School of the Arts and went on to earn a degree in product and fashion design at the Berlin University of the Arts.
